Quick Kuchen

Kuchen:
1 pkg. yellow or lemon cake mix
1 pkg. vanilla or lemon instant pudding
4 eggs
½ c. milk (she had this as ½ c. oil on another recipe card)
1 c. sour cream

Mix all and beat 10 minutes.

Topping:
½ c. sugar
½ c. nuts
1 t. cinnamon
-or-
¼ c. brown sugar
¼ c. chopped nuts
1 t. cinnamon

Mix together. Hold out 2 T. and swirl the rest around cake. Sprinkle 2 T on top.

Bake 325° in an angel cake pan for 50-60 minutes.

Over the years, this recipe has proven to be a go-to recipe for just about anything--give it as a gift, eat it for breakfast or brunch with coffee, or just use it as an easy dessert. It's easy to make and everyone loves it. Grandma almost always had one of these kuchens sitting on the hutch for people to have a little nosh whenever the spirit moved them.
