Dr. Martin’s Mix

1 ½ lbs. pork sausage crumbled into skillet and browned. Pour off fat.
1 green pepper, chopped
2 green onions, chopped (scallions)
2 or 3 celery stalks, chopped
2 c. chicken consommé or bouillon
1 c. raw rice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
½ t. salt
(sliced tomatoes)

Let simmer with lid on 1 hour at lowest possible heat (or in oven at 325°).
