1 med. onion minced or grated
1 beaten egg
Salt to taste
Mix and form into meatballs (50-60).
1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
1 c. grape jelly
3 T. lemon juice (or juice of 1 lemon)
Mix and combine in saucepan with ½ chili jar of water. Bring sauce to slow bubbling boil. Drop in uncooked meatballs. Cook 1 hour until sauce is thick. Add pineapple chunks if desired.
Variations: Add whole can mushrooms or Vienna sausages.
