Dody’s Lemon Bars

Crust:
2 c. unsifted flour
½ c. powdered sugar
½ lb. (1 c.) margarine or butter (or ½ of each)

Mix with mixer (or cut flour into butter) and put in 9x13 pan and bake at 350° for 10 minutes (note: another card with same recipe said 25 minutes, but that seems too long to me).

Top:
4 eggs
2 c. granulated sugar
6 T. lemon juice
4 T. flour
1 t. baking powder
½ t. salt

Mix with mixer and pour over baked, uncooled crust and bake 30 minutes more at 350°. May sprinkle top with confectioners sugar if desired.
