Truffle

Lady Fingers – cut and put together with jam or jelly – or use pound cake
Place around inside of bowl
Fruit on top of cake on bottom
Pour Sherry over all
6 oz. fruit (like strawberries) on top of that
Make custard from Bird’s Dessert Mix Powder
Whip cream or Cool Whip on top
Custard cooled before you put on top of Jell-O

I'm fairly certain that grandma meant "Trifle," not "Truffle." But since half the family is dyslexic (myself included), I decided to leave it as is! :-)
